Background & Research Statement
Ibrahim has built extensive industry experience over the past 6 years with previous positions including research and development on the design of new materials for chemical and nanotechnology applications as well as the direct conversion of crude oil to petrochemicals. He also holds experience as a Process Engineer through working in a gas sweetening plant. Ibrahim's MSc research project will focus on Catalysis within a nature-inspired context to be supervised by Prof. Coppens, this will shortly be followed by a 3-year long PhD to commence in late 2020 in the same research area.
