Congratulations to Jason Cho for successfully completing his PhD

02 May 2019

Jason Cho successfully defended his PhD entitled “A nature-inspired approach to robust fuel cell design with water management”. He was advised by Prof Marc-Olivier Coppens and Prof Dan Brett. To achieve significant improvements in fuel cell performance, his work combines lessons from the structure of the lung for scalable, efficient air and fuel distribution with a unique way to control the humidity in the fuel cell, inspired by the thorny lizards’ capability to passively direct the flow of water.
