CNIE won the second prize of the poster presentation at UK Particle Technology Forum 2017!

29 March 2017

Congratulations to PhD student Kaiqiao Wu who won the second prize of the poster presentation at UK Particle Technology Forum 2017.

As the supernumerary of the ChemEngDayUK 2017 on 27-28 March 2017, the University of Birmingham will also held this one-day event on 29th March 2017 on behalf of IChemE Particle Technology Special Interest Group (PTSIG), to bring together early career researchers to discuss the challenges and opportunities for Particle Technology. PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, early career academics, and industrial partners were invited to attend this event.

A selection of prizes was on offer for both talks (Young Research Award) and posters. In addition, the organisers also invited 3 plenary lectures from early-career scientists/engineers who shared their complementary paths to success in academia and industry. Above and beyond research talks and posters, the meeting aimed to provide a focused platform for PhDs/postdocs thinking ‘What's next for my career?’.
