CNIE presents to students at the North London Collegiate School

12 April 2018

On 21 March, CNIE’s Nidhi Kapil visited the North London Collegiate School to give a talk on, ‘Supported Gold Nanoparticle for Catalysis’, for 30 GCSE and A-Level students.

The North London Collegiate School runs a weekly lecture programme, Science Café, providing a platform for GCSE and A-level science students to explore what is beyond the curriculum. Nidhi’s talk took a pitch beginning from the basic level of chemistry to advance research performed in the CNIE lab.

This sparked the curiosity and interest among students towards science and engineering.

Nidhi Kapil commented:

"It was such an amazing experience to talk among the young budding scientists. The students showed immense interest in the field by asking many questions, followed by a discussion which was quite impressive."
