CNIE Centre Administrator Position Available

The Centre for Nature Inspired Engineering (CNIE) is in search for a Centre administrator to deal with day to day management and administration of the centre*.

Role and responsibilities

In addition to managing the day-today activities of the centre, the post holder will also provide a first point of contact for the Centre and play a key role in the co-ordination of the Centre. The candidate will also work in collaboration with line managers and all stakeholders to support and expand on the work of the Centre.

The successful candidate will gain key skills in research grants management, financial budgeting and forecasting and general project management. In addition, the successful candidate will gain skills in effective communication, team working, managing resources, and analysis and problem solving. This will be a great opportunity for personal and career development.

Essential Criteria

The candidate must have experience in financial administration and understanding of research funding. Experience in website management and social media is desirable. It is essential that the candidate is a self-starter, using initiative to complete tasks. Please view the Job description for further person specifications.
